The National Service Secretariat (NSS) has released the postings of some 85, 708 national service personnel to both public and private sectors for 2018/2019.
However, 2,101 prospective personnel have had their postings withheld because they applied with other people’s ID cards, the secretariat has said.
Executive Director of the National Service Scheme; Mustapha Yussif, who was addressing a press conference in Accra, said personnel can access their postings and print out the document.
He also noted that NSS personnel must book appointments online before they can go to the various centres to register.
This, according to him, is to streamline the registration process to prevent overcrowding at the centres like it happens every year.
Ghanaian students who graduate from accredited tertiary institutions are required by law to do a one-year national service.
