The northern regional chief imam of Shia Muslim community sheikh Abdul Mumin Dalhu has assured members of the shia muslims community in the region that he is available to address any challenges regarding the deadly coronavirus diseases that may affect any member of the shia Muslim community in the region
Sheikh Dalhu gave this assurance after putting on hold all Islamic activities in the Ahalilbait mosque including Friday congregational prayer in the region
This according to sheikh Dalhu this is line with the call by the National chief lmam and the president of the republic of Ghana to prevent the spread of covid-19 in the country
President Akufo-Addo’s on Sunday 15th March 2020 banned on all social gatherings including funerals, festivals, all religious activities, conferences and all other events that call for a mass gathering of people.
The spiritual leader who doubles as chief of the Hause Zongo, speaking however called on the general public most especial shia Muslims community in the region not to hesitate to contact him when feeling the symptoms of the deadly coronavirus disease
“Call me when you suspect symptoms of this deadly disease, when you feel that nobody that can manage it you, call me where ever you are any time any day I will attend to you and take action” he assured
Sheikh Dalhu also called on Muslims to also balance their diet by taking in more fruits to boost their immune system to enable the body fight the disease
