N/E: NPP schedule date to vet parliamentary aspirants

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set a date to vet its parliamentary aspirants who has successfully filed their nomination forms to contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the North East Region.

The North East Regional Secretary of NPP, Lawyer Sulley Sambian in a statement reveals that aspirants shall be vetted on February 29 and March 1st, 2020 respectively.

He indicated that a total of 14 aspirants filed to contest for the three constituencies with Walelwale recording the highest aspirants.

The statement read,”Take Notice, and notice is hereby served that vetting of parliamentary aspirants in the following constituencies will take place at the North-East Regional Coordinating Council on Saturday the 29th February 2020 and Sunday the 1st March 2020.

NOTICE OF VETTING OF PARLIAMENTARY ASPIRANTS- NORTH-EAST REGION

Take Notice, and notice is hereby served that vetting of parliamentary aspirants in the following constituencies will take place at the North-East Regional Coordinating Council on Saturday the 29th February 2020 and Sunday the 1st March 2020.

3. Konbong Tingoti
4. Daniel D. Janamah

B. WALEWALE CONSTITUENCY

1. Dr. Sagre Bambangi
2. Lariba Z. Abudu
3. Seth Panwum Boyoyo
4. Dr. Susana Alo
5. Ishaq Ibrahim Esq.
6. Dr. Yadaana Zakaria

1st March 2020 at 11 a. m.

C. NALERIGU/GAMBAGA CONSTITUENCY

1. Hajia Alima Mahama
2. Peter Wuni Baaga
3. Dr. Musah Yamba Issahaku
4. Mohammed Sampa
Only members of the vetting committee and aspirants will be allowed access into the vetting hall.
