Musah Superior accused of sidelining NPP executives in award of contracts

The stalemate between some executives of the ruling NPP and the Tamale Metropolitan Chief Executive, Iddrisu Musah Superior, seems not to be ending soon as fresh allegations have emerged over the mayor’s conduct.

Some NPP executives in Tamale Central and Tamale South constituencies are accusing Musah Superior of what they term ‘divide and rule’ and such concerns if not well handled, may affect the party’s chances in the 2020 general elections.

The mayor according to the group had neglected the party executives and the party by diverting contracts meant for party members.

There have been reports that suggest that some constituency executives including Chairman Shiidim Yenyaa, attacked the MAYOR at his offices at the metro assembly over the issue.

However commenting on the development, Tamale Central Constituency Secretary for the NPP, Mutawakil Raga, denied this, but said they would issue a statement at the appropriate time on the happenings. This is what he said in Diamond fM.

The first vice chairman of the Tamale central NPP, Alhaji Yakubu speaking on the same issue also recount what transpire between him and the Metro Chief Executive, IDDRISU MUSAH SUPERIOR.
