A middle aged married woman has been found dead in cold blood while the husband William Akolbila 26 has his male genitals removed completely at Janjori Kukuo of the Nantong District of the Northern Region.
This happened on Friday after confusion broke out between the couple at their private residence at Janjori Kukuo.
Narrating the incident to Diamond news, the Savelugu Municipal Police Commander, DSP Twumasi Ankrah stated that his outfit received a report at around 2pm on Friday about a murder case at Janjori Kukuo, and so he quickly dispatched his men to the scene. He said the lifeless body of the unnamed woman was seen lying in a pool of blood with series of multiple cutlass wounds, whiles the husband was still battling for his life.
DSP Twumasi narrated that two knives were found in the room.
He said the body of the woman has been deposited at the morgue of the Tamale Teaching Hospital pending autopsy while the man is responding to treatment at the same facility.
He added that investigation has commenced to ascertain the truth of the matter.
