JOHN MAHAMA left no legacy for the North – Bawumia

Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has stated that the former President John Dramani Mahama who is contesting on the NDC again, has no legacy in the five regions of the North.

According to him John Mahama in his Eight years in Government cannot boast of a substantial legacy he left for the people in the Northern Region. 

He indicated that the John Mahama led government throughout their eight years in government failed to complete a single road project in the Northern part of the country.

I want to asked John Mahama who want to lead this country for the second term what did he do for the Northern Region, what is his legacy for the people in the Northern Region, he cannot tell what the legacy was for the people in the Northern Region, they did not even complete one full road in Eight years in government in the Northern Region,” he stated 

The Vice president made this statement at a commissioning of a one story 2 number 6 unit classroom block and dormitory at the Yendi Senior High School in the Yendi constituency, as part of his three day campaign tour of the Region.

According to Dr. Bawumai, the only legacy John Mahama left for the North was the Savanna Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) which they cannot point a single project they initiated after spending a hundred Million US dollars.

“They chopped all the SADA money without initiating a single project in this part of the country,” he stressed.
