The RING Project, in its final implementation stages is funded by USAID across 17 selected MMDAs under the US government’s feed the future programme; designed as government to government approach that specifically sends funds to the grassroots through the local assemblies who plan and implement their own developments.

Mr. Saeed in showing appreciation to the government and people of the America through USAID, suggested that the gains from the RING project should be leverage into other developmental interventions that were being rolled out by the government and its development partners.

Acting Office Director for Economic Growth at USAID-Ghana, James Lykos who handed over the two trucks to the regional minister, Salifu Saeed said although the RING project was coming to an end this year; the partnership between Ghana and USAID isn’t folding up yet, since USAID would be exploring more areas of mutual interests to the sides.
