The Sagnarigu constituency of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has inaugurated its Campaign Team ahead of the December 7th general elections.
The campaign team was inaugurated by ranking officials from the Northern Regional NPP office led by Alhaji Sunday and Deputy National Communications Director, Prof. Haruna Mohammed who encouraged the team to put in their all to ensure victory for Madam Felicia Tettey and President Akufo-Addo in the upcoming general election.
“The party will be disappointed at the campaign team, if at the end of the elections, Madam Felicia Tettey fails to emerge victorious because we have empirically verifiable projects to sell.”
In her address, NPP’s PC for Sagnarigu constituency, Felicia Tettey reminded party members that only unity and continued efforts will lead them to victory come 7th December.
She said the NDC which dominates the constituency, is seriously mobilizing and forming a formidable force ahead of December 7th general elections.
Madam Felicia Tettey thereby rallied party supporters and her campaign team’s commitment to ensuring the NPP’s victory in the constituency.
“Without unit and, perseverance we go nowhere, the battle ahead is tougher than we think. Let’s not think Sagnarigu is an ordinary constituency that we can just take it like that, but togetherness, team work and perseverance it can become possible come December 7..”
She opined that Sagnarigu stood tall among all the constituencies in the three Regions of the North because, during the just ended voters’ registration in the country, the NPP in Sagnarigu constituency mobilized 17000 qualified voters to register in the constituency.
According to her, the people registered in the constituency, because the NPP is the only party that can transform and develop Sagnarigu constituency since the NDC law maker, A.B.A Fuseini having spent 8yrs in Government, failed to lobby developmental projects for the people of Sagnarigu, and now is involved in propaganda and politics of divisiveness.
“When you go into the constituency and you have eyes, you will see development. I know my father A.B.A Fuseini is just being a little bit scared, he can’t come out to say well I cannot sleep at night because he sees the threat. He knows exactly what is going on in Sagnarigu, and he is now asking for help,” she alleged.
