One of the finest rappers from the North Sherif Abdul-Majeed known in showbiz as Maccasio has debunked the long held assertion that he is not in good terms with the VGMA Best New Act of the Year Fancy Gadam. He made this disclosure on the Diamond City Jam with Nana Benhene Brago Josephene on Wednesday.
According to him, he has no problem at all with the boss of Gadam Nation adding that “he is a great artiste and doing very well for northern music”. He said he has intentions of doing collaboration with Fancy Gadam in the near future.
When asked why he didn’t file for the VGMA awards last year, he answered that he did Fancy a favour by not filing as they would have divided the votes in the same category Fancy won. “This was a way of supporting a brother from the north” he said adding that this year he will surely file for the VGMA
Maccasio concluded by urging his fans to continue to support him as he is working extra hard to make them happy. He intimated of collaboration in the pipeline with one of Ghana’s favourite musician Guru which he said would wow his fans.
