Dr Mohammed Amin Adam Anta commissions an ultra-modern party office complex for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Karaga Constituency

The Deputy Minister for Energy Dr Mohammed Amin Adam Anta, has commission an ultra-modern party office complex for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Karaga Constituency of the Northern Region to aid its administrative and other activities in the area.

The fully-furnished office was handed over to party executives in the area, which was attended by some NPP Executives from National, Regional and Constituency levels, Deputy Ministers of State, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives and Chiefs of the area.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony in Karaga on Saturday, Dr Amin Anta, believe that the new office facility would go a long way to better administer the affairs of the party in the area.

Dr Amin Adam Anta is one of the favorite candidates among the three other aspirants vying to be elected on September 28 as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Karaga Constituency.

The seat of karaga constituency since curved out has been held by the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He assured the people of Karaga most especial the teachers that, he will implement a one-teacher one-laptop computer policy in the area  when voted into Parliament by distributing laptop computers to over 600 teachers in the Karaga District. He also pledges to continue to work hard to accelerate more development of the area to enable it gained Municipal status.  

“Within the next two months, I would begin the construction of a number of mechanized boreholes across the constituency to provide portable water for my people. I would also construct a Community Centre and a Football Park as part of my efforts to develop this area. I want Karaga to overcome Gushegu in terms of development”, he stated.

The NPP aspiring candidate also promise to distribute 50,000 energy saving bulbs, free of charge to residents in the constituency to conserve energy and ensure security.

Both National and Regional Executives of NPP who graze the ceremony, all declared their support to Dr Amin Anta candidature, and they have however called  on delegates in Karaga constituency to give mandate to Dr Amin Anta come Saturday to wrestle the seat from the NDC.

The first National Vice Chairperson of NPP, Madam Rita Talata Asobayire, on her remarks commended the Deputy Energy Minister for his contributions to the party in the Karaga Constituency expressing the need for the delegates to put the party first by supporting Dr Amin Anta to win the Karaga seat for the NPP.

On his part, the Deputy Minister for Information Hon Pius Enam Hadzide, , urge the people of Karaga to rally behind Dr Amin Anta to win the seat to enable him occupy a vital position in government to develop the area.
