| BACKGROUND |
It is an accepted fact
that people wake up daily with a lot of ideas and plans
for the day. Most of the plans may not be achieved because
some may lack direction or courage to chart a course,
which could result in improving their lot. |
A lot of people listen
to radio with the hope of getting the sort of inspiration
and direction they need to work their hearts out during
the day. It is so unfortunate most of them are not fully
satisfied with what they get. |
It is on this basis
and others that Diamond 93.7FM came out with Diamond
Power Drive as an alternative morning show programme
in the Northern Region and its immediate environs. |

| CONCEPT |
Diamond Power Drive
is based on the idea that we have a brand new day, which
has its own blessings to offer to those who are prepared
to go the extra mile in trying to improve their lot.
On this basis, an atmosphere of hope is created and
people are encouraged to take up whatever comes their
way. A lot is done to encourage people who might have
had a bad day the previous day by giving them information,
inspiration and direction to start the day on a good
note. |
