CAF BANS 11 REFEREES AND ASSISTANTS AND INVITES 11 OTHERS FOR HEARING

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has banned 11 referees and assistant referees for various acts of misconduct purported to have been captured in the “media”.

A statement released on the CAF official media handle has the names of officials from various African countries among the list of banned referees, some of whom are for life.

No Ghanaian official is found in the list of banned referees. However, 10 Ghanaian referees and assistants have been invited before the CAF Disciplinary Board on the 5th August, 2018 for hearing.
