The Deportivo Alaves and Lorient enforcers are respectively expected to show a positive attitude towards the match to get a favourable result even though qualification is no longer possible.

Ghana will be hoping to get a good result against their bitter rivals Egypt to at least stake a claim and also better their standings in the FIFA World rankings.

Ghana and Egypt are two of Africa’s best teams as they share 11 African Cup of Nations titles between them albeit the pharoahs with the largest number with seven titles and Ghana has four titles, the last of which came back in 1982.

Till date, Ghana has played in three finals in 1992, 2010 and 2015 and have been unsuccessful on all these occasions.
