The Diamond FM English Premier League Live Show continued over the weekend with four matches as live commentary was aired on both Saturday and Sunday.
The first game of Saturday was Manchester United vs Briton and Hove Albion with Manchester United winning by 1-0. Briton defender Lewis Dunk deflected Ashley Young’s shot into his own net to settle matters between the two sides.
The late kick-off on the day saw the big game between Liverpool and Chelsea which ended 1-1. Mohammed Salah scored on 66minutes for Liverpool before Willian equalized for Chelsea with a few minutes to full time.
At the end of the game, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said his team did well because it was difficult playing against eight defenders paraded by Chelsea on the day.
For his part, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was delighted that his side “refused to loose” the match and was pleased with their efforts in getting a point from the game.
Our featured games for Sunday saw Southampton defeat Everton by 4-1 whilst Manchester City had to come from a goal down to beat Huddersfield Town by 2-1 in the late kick off game on the day.
