Alhassan Suhuyini inaugurates developmental projects in Tamale North

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North constituency in the Northern Region, Alhaji Alhassan S. Suhuyini, over the weekend inaugurated several developmental projects, including Nurses bungalow at the Kanvili Health Centre, to provide quality healthcare delivery to the people in the area.

The projects funded through the MP’s Common Fund include, Nurses bungalow at the Kanvili Health Centre, Palace Pavilion at the Kanvili Chief Palace, and fence wall at the Fuo community public toilet, to improve sanitation in the area.

The Nurses bungalow at the Kanvili Health Centre which is the biggest project and funded through the MP’s Common Fund, will accommodate the resident nurses at the Health Centre to effectively serve the people of Kanvili.

Hon Alhassan Suhuyini, speaking to Diamondfmonline.com after the inaugural ceremony at the premises of the Kanvili Chief palace, noted the projects are part of an effort aimed at improving quality health delivery and sanitation in the constituency.

He said these projects among other things are basic and fundamental needs of the people and he is committed, as the projects would go a long way to transform the area and impact positively on the people at these communities.

According to the MP, transforming the constituency remained a topmost agenda to him as a development agent, and that he would do everything humanly possible to implement measures to improve development in the constituency.

Alhassan Suhuyini added that no society can achieve meaningful development without high-quality healthcare delivery, hence the effort to support a number of health facilities in most of the deprived communities in his constituency to enable the people to have a conducive healthcare service.

He said he would continue to give priority to key sectors including education, water, sanitation and health during his tenure in office as the people representative in parliament.

On his part, the Sagnarigu Municipal Health Director, George Ibrahim, commended the MP for his efforts towards providing the needs of health practitioners in the Sagnarigu Municipality.

The chiefs and people of these communities, who couldn’t hide their excitement, thanked the MP for the gesture, saying “we will never forget about your efforts”, they assured.
